Calling allsewer rats!

This October, The Beaumont Studios is hosting its 8th annual immersive theatre experience. This year’s show, entitled Flushment Day, runs October 15 to 30 at The Beaumont Studios, 326 West 5th Avenue.

Each year the show invites community members to get involved and volunteer to be part of the show. Sometimes it is zombies or vampires, and this year the show is looking for a community to play a mischievous army of sewer rats and help bring life to the production. We’re looking for energetic, playful humans to transform into sewer rats and help guide audiences through a strange, dystopian world filled with absurd bureaucracy and sinful characters.

No acting experience is required, though we love actors too. Just bring your enthusiasm, reliability and willingness to get gloriously ratty. We’ll provide the direction, orientation and a hand crafted rat mask for you to wear for the show. Come for one night, or come for them all.

As a Sewer Rat volunteer, you’ll

• Be part of a large-scale immersive theatrical production
• Interact with audiences and help bring the world of Flushment Day to life
• Work alongside professional performers, artists and other wonderfully strange creative people

Come alone, bring a friend or recruit your own little rat pack.

Great fun for anyone 16 plus. Some adult content and alcohol on site, so mature teens only.
