This October, The Beaumont Studios added a vaudevillian twist to the eerie worlds inhabited by Stephen King's most iconic figures, morphing them into a campy, burlesque bonanza that was equal parts thrilling and titillating.
The lines between the macabre and the mesmerizing blurred, unveiling a display that enticed both fears and fantasies, complemented by an exclusive themed cocktail experience. Two unique 2oz cocktails, served up by Pennywise the Clown and Lloyd, the iconic bartender from The Shining.

Audiences meandered through three uniquely themed rooms, each promising a playful and spine-tingling adventure that culminated in a finale bursting with unexpected surprises and riveting reveals.
The infamous Annie Wilkes, the eerie twins from the Overlook Hotel, Jack Torrance, and the captivating yet terrifying Pennywise all sprang to life in a series of dark fantasies and seductive performances. From campy horror to flirtatious burlesque, The Shine delivered an evening of giggles and gasps.

Listed as one of Canada's top burlesque performers, April O'Peel produces large-scale theatrical productions that push the boundaries of the art form. A recipient of awards from the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival and Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
Vancouver actor, singer, and writer/director trained at Haven Acting Studio. Teresa's screen credits include Legends of Tomorrow and Double Booked, bringing grounded dramatic chops to the Beaumont's theatrical mayhem.
Multi-dimensional comedy performer known for her masterful clowning and physical comedy. Her solo Bouffon show Mona Monaé toured internationally. Previously played the Penguin in The Beaumont's 2019 show Tours of the Recently Deceased.
Award-winning, internationally renowned burlesque performer and co-founder of the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival. Known as Vancouver's tattooed fireball, Melody brings danger, glamour, and fire to every stage she touches.
Mother/daughter acro duo who bring breathtaking aerial and acrobatic physicality to every performance. The pair have performed at Burnaby Pride and Circus Petrichor's Rain, dazzling audiences with their signature blend of danger and grace.
The femme drag persona of artist Tien Neo Eamas. With over 30 years performing across dance, performance art, taiko drumming, and drag, Orchid Cherry is an OG resident artist at The Beaumont Studios and a pillar of Vancouver's queer performance community.
