Avalanche Canada Presents: Matchstick Productions The Way Out – Vancouver Fundraiser Screening
The Beaumont Studios welcomes Avalanche Canada to the Main Hall on Thursday, November 26 for a fundraiser screening of The Way Out, the 34th annual ski film from Matchstick Productions. Doors open at 6:00 PM and the film starts at 7:00 PM.
The Way Out is a tribute to the culture and lifestyle of skiing, shot everywhere from Alaskan spine lines to deep powder in Japan and iconic Swiss villages. A good deal of it was filmed close to home. Whistler, the CMH Monashees Lodge, Mike Wiegele Heli-Skiing and Northern Escape out of Terrace all feature.
Tickets are $30 and proceeds support Avalanche Canada’s public avalanche safety programs, including the school program that reached 8,699 students in British Columbia last season. All ages welcome, with minors accompanied by an adult. Cash bar on site.
