It’s here! Sunday Sounds Good’s first Psychology Series evening is coming to The Beaumont Studios: **ADHD in Women & Girls**.

Led by [@sundaysoundsgood](https://www.instagram.com/sundaysoundsgood/) and presented by registered clinical counsellor Madeline Montgomery from [@nightingale.counselling](https://www.instagram.com/nightingale.counselling/), the evening will explore how ADHD can show up differently in women and girls, why so many aren’t recognized until later in life, and the role hormones and menstrual cycles can play.

Guests will also enjoy live music from [@meganzoemusic](https://www.instagram.com/meganzoemusic/) and warm tea.

Early-bird tickets are on sale now!

Calendar notes:
Psychology Series: ADHD in women & girls

ADHD has become a popular topic of discussion, but until recently half the population has been left out of the conversation.

ADHD can look very different in women and girls, which means it is often overlooked, misunderstood, or recognized much later in life.

Women and girls with ADHD have historically been left out of the research, left out of the doctor’s office, and left without the support they deserve to help them thrive. But that’s all changing, so let’s talk about it.

Plus, in true Sunday Sounds Good style, we’ll bring it all together with live music and warm tea.

This is the first of a new Sunday Sounds Good Psychology Series; a collection of live community evenings exploring the psychology behind everyday life.
Together with experienced registered clinical counsellors we’ll dive into topics that shape us and help us understand what it means to be human.
They’re an opportunity to learn from experienced mental health professionals, ask questions, and gain practical insights in a relaxed, welcoming environment without the financial barrier of ongoing therapy. Whether you’re simply curious, supporting someone you care about, or looking to better understand yourself, these evenings are designed to make quality psychological knowledge more accessible to everyone.

Because understanding ourselves shouldn’t be reserved for the therapy room.

Cost: 38
