Be A Foundational Part Of Securing Beaumont’s Future Home

Beaumont Studios has remained a vital core within Vancouver’s creative ecosystem for more than twenty years. Today, our 22,000 ft² Mount Pleasant campus supports one hundred working artists, and welcomes thousands of guests each year through exhibitions, events, and public programming.

In the coming years, Beaumont is preparing for something bigger: securing a permanent, long-term home for the organization and the artists who work here.

Doing this requires Beaumont to fundraise beyond our current scale. Real estate pressure doesn’t afford us the luxury of incremental growth. We are preparing for a rapid 10× expansion, moving from a $1–2M annual operation into a $15M–25M capital campaign to protect creative space in Vancouver for the long term.

The Quiet Phase (Shhh… we’re not keeping it a secret!)

Before capital campaigns like this go fully public, they begin with a core group of early believers. People who recognize the opportunity and make the larger vision possible.

That’s where Beaumont is now.

Securing a permanent home will take a cohort of donors providing transformational gifts, inspiring a greater wave of community contributions needed to realize the vision of a long-term Beaumont Studios. It’s exciting to think what a relatively core group of individual donors can enable for arts and culture in our city.

What we know

We know great people of generous capacity are here in our community.

Have we met you on the dancefloor at one of our events?

Or shared a thought-provoking conversation at one of our art exhibitions?

Let us know the impact you’d like to make happen through your generous support of the Beaumont.

We’re excited to move this conversation forward into concrete action for the arts, at a crucial time for the city and cultural sector.

Protecting Creative Space In Vancouver

Across Vancouver, as across Canada, creative space continues to disappear. Beaumont represents something increasingly rare: a large, artist-run creative campus in a major city where artists create, collaborate, and share their work directly with the public.

  • Your support helps secure that future
  • Stabilizing the creative campus and artist studios
  • Expanding Beaumont’s role as a cultural anchor in the city

Fueling The Work Inside The Walls

Alongside the capital campaign, unrestricted donations provide the flexible funding that allows Beaumont to grow its charitable impact. Operations and development are not just “overhead”, they literally keep the roof over our heads. And inside The B is where the magic happens.

  • Programming will naturally scale with Beaumont
  • More exhibitions, more events
  • More opportunities for artists and the public to participate in cultural life
