Led by AmarElas, a collective of Brazilian women musicians in Vancouver, the event features songs by iconic female artists and honor the strength, creativity, and vibrancy of women in samba. Batucada Abrace adds the energy of their women-led percussion crew, and a small marketplace will spotlight local women entrepreneurs.

This family-friendly event offers live samba, irresistible rhythms, and a warm atmosphere to connect, celebrate, and uplift women’s voices.
