Artist Statement

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of British Columbia.

My professional background includes 3 decades immersed in Vancouver’s dynamic Film and Television industry.

In my creative journey, I am driven to unveil the unseen internal landscapes within us, peeling back the layers that often remain hidden. The myriad of colors and textures in my work engages in a vibrant dialogue between my inner world and the boundless beauty of the universe that surrounds me.

My art is not merely a means of self-expression but a catalyst for connection and self-discovery. I create colourful abstract paintings to reconnect me with a sense of play while embracing instinct and the spontaneous flow of the unexpected.

Through my art, I extend an invitation for you to explore your emotional, physical and creative selves with a renewed sense of wonder and curiosity.
