Happy Fall to everyone!
I hope you had a fantastic end of your summer and are ready for Vancouvers wonderful weather we’ll be enjoying for the next few months.
I’m still buzzing from the 1st ever Bitcoin Block Party that was a MASSIVE success. If you were there, thanks for coming and i’m sure you enjoyed it as much as the other 200 attendees!
If you weren’t able to make it, you really missed an amazing day. Bitcoin was on full display and hope you can make the next Block Party next year.
I’m happy to announce the next get together! We’ll be back at Beaumont Studios on Saturday November 18th. This is going to be more of a social event just to hang out, dance to dj’s, chat with Bitcoiners, mingle with friends and have a drink or two if you so wish.
The entrance fee will be by donation so if you’re feeling generous you can contribute the following ways to help cover some of the venue costs:

What we’re about
BTC VanCity (@btcvancity on Twitter/Instagram/YouTube) is a group open to anyone interested in Bitcoin. Our goal is to bring people together to learn, network and discuss all things related to Bitcoin and the Lightning Network and how it can solve many of the worlds issues starting with the broken modern monetary systems in place today.
We love art and artists and try to incorporate Bitcoin artists from around the world at the events. Participate in the silent auction and you could end up with some amazing art pieces for usually fantastic prices!
If your journey has you into the Altcoin space, you’re also welcome however the disucssion will revolve around Bitcoin. We’re happy to discuss why Bitcoin is superior to Alt coins but won’t be “debating” the topic.
