For example\, when she hears music she sees colour and shape! Each painting is a visual representation of the colors she perceives when listening to the accompanying songs. \n\nThe exhibition is organized into three acts—The Collapse\, The Search\, and The Hope—each reflecting a different stage of emotional growth. A curated music playlist guides viewers through the shifting emotions of each act\, creating a multi-sensory experience. \n\nVisitors are encouraged to bring headphones and a phone to listen to the playlist while experiencing the art\, deepening the connection to the narrative of resilience and healing. \n\n‘Endure Everything’ serves as a reminder that\, even in our darkest moments\, there is light to be found. The new documentary Cycling Without Age explores how pedal power can rekindle this childlike wonder after we lose our ability to ride. Fresh of it’s U.S. Premiere at the Oscar-Qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festival\, Vancouver Cycling Without Age Society is pleased to host a community screening of this award-winning documentary at The Beaumont Studios! We will also accept cash donations at the door. \nCycling Without Age is a film about the power of feeling the wind in your hair\, no matter where you are on life’s journey. It follows the story of John\, a retired teacher\, and his merry group of volunteers as they use pedal-powered trishaws to give rides to those who have lost the ability to pedal themselves. Through the intimate moments of these rides\, the film shows how shared outdoor experience can build connections: between a pilot and passenger\, the past and present. Cycling Without Age presents a unique portrait of aging\, asking the audience to consider the importance of the outdoors for those who are all too often trapped inside. \nJoin us for an inspiring afternoon where we will be showcasing this heartwarming documentary about the transformative power of cycling for seniors (with a run time of 27 minutes)\, followed by a short panel discussion and Q&A with volunteers\, passengers and partners of CWA here in Vancouver.
