SUMMARY:Stop Creating One Thing at a Time | Creative Pulse Talk + Social
DESCRIPTION:Discover how Carson Ting uses creative systems to make more ambitious work — without simply working harder. \nWhat if the most valuable thing you could create wasn’t the work itself…but the system behind it? \nCarson Ting is an award-winning artist\, designer\, and creative director whose work spans illustration\, branding\, advertising\, public art\, and large-scale collaborations. \nHe’s created work for brands like Nike and the NBA — and was recently named an official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Artist representing Canada. \nBut after decades of creating\, Carson has started thinking beyond the individual project.\nWhat if\, instead of starting from scratch each time\, you built a system that helps you generate new work again and again? \nFor Carson\, systems are a way to work smarter — giving creative people a repeatable way to develop ideas and produce stronger work without simply putting in more hours. \nYou don’t have to solve every creative problem from scratch \nOn Sept 24\, Carson will share his approach to building systems for creative work. \nIf you are a commercial creative working in branding\, marketing\, design\, advertising\, or technology\, attend this Talk + Social to discover: \n– How Carson thinks about systems as part of the creative process.\n– How to stop approaching every new project from a blank page.\n– How to build your own creative system for developing and producing ideas. \nThen\, Carson will guide the room through a live experiment: we’ll collectively build a creative system and use it to create something together. \nJoin Creative Pulse for drinks and pizza with talented local creatives — and leave with a different way to think about how you make creative work. \nCost: CA$20.41 \nTickets: https://creativepulse.co/carson-ting-talk-social/ \nSubmitted by Rosaldo Damitan via Beaumont post request form.

SUMMARY:ADHD in women & girls
DESCRIPTION:It’s here! Sunday Sounds Good’s first Psychology Series evening is coming to The Beaumont Studios: **ADHD in Women & Girls**. \nLed by [@sundaysoundsgood](https://www.instagram.com/sundaysoundsgood/) and presented by registered clinical counsellor Madeline Montgomery from [@nightingale.counselling](https://www.instagram.com/nightingale.counselling/)\, the evening will explore how ADHD can show up differently in women and girls\, why so many aren’t recognized until later in life\, and the role hormones and menstrual cycles can play. \nGuests will also enjoy live music from [@meganzoemusic](https://www.instagram.com/meganzoemusic/) and warm tea. \nEarly-bird tickets are on sale now! \nCalendar notes:\nPsychology Series: ADHD in women & girls \nADHD has become a popular topic of discussion\, but until recently half the population has been left out of the conversation. \nADHD can look very different in women and girls\, which means it is often overlooked\, misunderstood\, or recognized much later in life. \nWomen and girls with ADHD have historically been left out of the research\, left out of the doctor’s office\, and left without the support they deserve to help them thrive. But that’s all changing\, so let’s talk about it. \nPlus\, in true Sunday Sounds Good style\, we’ll bring it all together with live music and warm tea. \nThis is the first of a new Sunday Sounds Good Psychology Series; a collection of live community evenings exploring the psychology behind everyday life.\nTogether with experienced registered clinical counsellors we’ll dive into topics that shape us and help us understand what it means to be human.\nThey’re an opportunity to learn from experienced mental health professionals\, ask questions\, and gain practical insights in a relaxed\, welcoming environment without the financial barrier of ongoing therapy. Whether you’re simply curious\, supporting someone you care about\, or looking to better understand yourself\, these evenings are designed to make quality psychological knowledge more accessible to everyone. \nBecause understanding ourselves shouldn’t be reserved for the therapy room. \nCost: 38 \nTickets: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/psychology-series-adhd-in-women-girls-tickets-2000656292828 \nSubmitted by Colleen via Beaumont post request form.
