Welcome to The Beaumont
The Beaumont is an art gallery, a stage and home to 16
private art studios. It is located in the emerging 'creative district'
east of Cambie Street. It is an established venue for Vancouver's art,
theatrical, dance and music scene.
The Beaumont was established in 2004 by artist Jude Kusnierz as an open and supportive environment for a wide variety of creative professionals. Being a full-time professional artist herself for over a decade, Jude's hope was to create a unique environment where business artists like herself, could work in a beautiful, safe, reasonably priced, positive and upbeat place. A place that would offer opportunity for growth, mentoring and cross pollination of ideas and business. It's worked!
OUR MISSION is to inspire fellow artists, share
our work with audiences, generate opportunities for collaboration, and
establish ongoing interaction between the network of artists,
appreciators, and supporters within this rapidly growing
city.
OUR VISION is to foster a community where
professional and amateur artists of all disciplines can bring life to
their ideas and grow through communication and inspiration from each
other.

The Beaumont is just shy of 7,000 sqft, two stories and hosts 16
private art studios. it is home to over 35 artists working in a wide
range of disciplines and creating in a an amazing supportive community
setting.
When you come, you will find, Potter's and ceramic artists, jewelry designers, composers, painters, film makers, photographers, graphic designers, fashion designers, sculptors, shoemakers, glass workers, teachers, writers, even a shoe maker/designer and more.

WE ARE AN ART GALLERY:
Our "OPEN" floor plan, with a main gallery space, hallways,
stairwells all hosting a well balanced array of local Vancouver
artwork, there is no direction you can go in the Beaumont and not see
something unique and beautiful. We showcase local contemporary artists
who work in any variety of mediums, and not just the artworks of the
resident artists but a juried selection of community artists too. The
Gallery provides an inviting setting for art openings, receptions,
exhibitions, book launches and intimate music showcases. The layout can
be customized in order to suit the artist/client’s needs and a new
"showcasing" artist is on display every other month.

WE ARE A STAGE:
The Beaumont Stage is approximately 900 sq/ft venue that is home to musicians, dance/yoga instructors, kids programs, theatre workshops & classes and other creative individuals during the week for evening rehearsals and such.
The stage is also reserved for private & public events including music showcases during the weekend. The Beaumont Stage is an intimate venue that can be customized with seating, lighting & décor to create the perfect backdrop for any event. Multiple entrances and double loading doors make accessibility easy for oversized equipment and props. The Stage is the perfect venue for live performance, such as CD Release Parties, Film Wrap Parties, Screenings & Film Reviews, Theater, Workshops,
Fundraisers, Dance, Burlesque and yoga..... or any other Creative Endeavors in Art you can think of.
