Celebrate a shift in seasons and a change in attitude towards sustainability, eating local, and urban gardening with the 2nd Annual Autumn Shift Festival. Enjoy live music and entertainment, a local merchant market, arts and crafts, free activities for children, community booths, great gardening ideas, and more.

The Beaumont Studios is thrilled to be invited to host an entertainment stage and artists market and we have invited an incredible lineup of DJs and artists to join us for the last street festival of the season. Other musical entertainment includes Mount Pleasant’s resident radio station, Shore 104.3 FM, and select performers discovered during their Song Search competition: 2010 Song Search winner Zaac Pick, 2011 Song Search winner Randy Ponzio, and contestants Watasun, No Sinner, The Belle Game , and Dan Moxon and Pacey’s Pianos will be sponsoring an amazing dueling grand piano performance.

Families can enjoy arts and crafts, including button making courtesy of the Mount Pleasant Community Centre and the VPL. BC Hydro and Fortis BC will be on site to make learning about power conservation fun for all, while Kingsway Honda will be sponsoring a balloon artist.

Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from Broadway to 12th Avenue on September 17th to facilitate this fun, family friendly street festival.
